LOLA press is an international feminist magazine, which is - and this is something special - brought out jointly by an international editorial board from three continents.
There is a Latin American team in Montevideo/Uruguay which is currently co-ordinating the project, an African team in Johannesburg/South Africa and an European one in Berlin/Germany. We co-operate with free lancers from different regions of the world.
Since 1994 we are publishing each year two printed issues; they are bilingual, in English and Spanish. From now on we will publish additionally each year an online issue, called LOL@, which is for the first time available in July 2000. Publishing online offers a more direct communication and discussion about the contents, that we wish to stimulate. Send us your comments, suggestions and exploit the advantages of e-mail-correspondence with other readers, editors and authors.
